Jana Bazeed
Head Chair
Jana is a second-year BSc Physics and Philosophy student (yes, that's a real degree) at King’s College London. Desite her scientific ambitions, Jana has had a long-held interest in political theory and international relations--with a particular focus on science policy--having read extensively on the topics, and been active in debate and MUN throughout high-school. After a long break, Jana is excited to be active in the MUN sphere again. She looks forward to seeing you all! In her free time, Jana can almost definitely be found geeking out over something, be it classic sci-fi, comic books, or even 80s punk rock. She is also passionate about journalism and media in general, acting as Science Correspondent for Roar News, King's College London’s very own award-winning student publication.
Ali Zeead Jangeerkhan
Vice Chair
Ali is a 2nd Year Environmental Science with Business Management student at Queen Mary - he was born and raised in Mauritius and came to London in 2022 to study. He joined the Queen Mary MUN society upon starting his course and he finds that MUN is on of the best ways to meet people from all around the world and enrich your own perspective through listening to others talk about important issues in many different areas!
Hayley Kwok
Vice Chair
Hayley is a first year French with Management at UCL. She serves as the Careers Director for the UCL United Nations Association. Born in Hong Kong, her MUN journey began in Sixth Form in the UK, where she has been a delegate and chair in internal training sessions, and organised her Sixth Form’s MUN conference as Under Secretary-General for Conference Services. She has since participated in ULMUN, OxIMUN and UCLMUN, as well as being vice-chair at QMUN 2024. Hayley first joined MUN to develop her confidence and skills in public speaking, and while her degree doesn’t have a direct link to international relations, she is now passionate about how MUN encourages reflections on current global affairs. Aside from MUN, Hayley is a keen baker, photographer and undeniably a huge coffee lover. She is looking forward to meeting you all in-person at LSEMUN:HS 2024!
James Nguyen
Assistant Chair
James is a year 12 A level student studying maths, physics, chemistry and further maths. He took place in his first youth MUN at the LSE in 2023 and having loved the experience, took the role of assistant chair for LSEMUN high school UNEP 2024. James was born in Singapore and has been raised in Singapore and the UK. Outside of MUN and academics, he has an avid passion for travelling, hoping to tick off a bucketlist of destinations, football (although Man United typically let him down), gym and guitar. He looks forward to seeing you all at LSEMUN HS 24'
