Solomon Westmancott
Co-Chair
Solomon is a third year Economics student here at the LSE. He's been involved in Model UN since he started university, chairing this conference two years ago and being in the backroom for the crisis committee last year, and has especially enjoyed introducing beginners to the structure and processes of Model UN. Outside of Model UN and his studies, he enjoys listening to music, taking photos on his film camera, and becoming increasingly nerdy about the London Transport network.
Asia Campagna
Co-Chair
Asia (she/her) is a second year Law student at the LSE. She was an active member of last years Model United Nations Society, backrooming LSEMUN and Under-Secretary General of Communications for last year's LSE MUN HS (rest in peace YouthMUN). She’s an avid reader and is very much looking forward to her chairing debut this year at the SOCHUM committee. Asia enjoys musical theatre and engaging in lively philosophical debates!
Josh Rogers
Co-Chair
Josh (he/him) is a first-year postgraduate research student, starting his doctorate studies in sustainable transportation at the University of Bath. Before he moved to Bath, he graduated with an integrated master's in computer science from the University of Leicester, near to where he grew up in the heart of the East Midlands. Despite being a relative rookie to MUN, he has seen and experienced the warmth and comradery that the community fosters. He is certainly looking forward to see the next generation of MUNners come through who want to be the change they want to see. When not working on their degree or MUN, Josh enjoys playing badminton regularly, ranking the best coffee shops in the Somerset area, and is an avid fan of Eurovision!
Ike Idikakalu
Assistant Chair
Ike is a Sixth-Form student studying biology, chemistry, maths, and politics, and he aims to study international relations at university—despite his subject choices. His stint in MUN began at sixth form; prior to this he had no experience at a conference, nor did he have much of an interest in politics at all! In the year and a half since though, his interest in politics and international relations has only grown exponentially, with him leading his school's MUN society and chairing committees now after being a delegate last year. One position he most fondly remembers is representing China at a conference last year, defending the human rights record of China with a zeal Xi Jinping himself would be proud of. Outside of MUN, he enjoys cooking, fashion, and writing short stories. His most recent piece is about a war photographer, and he’s always looking for proofreaders!
